The toll-free number could be exactly what the doctor ordered to help New Jersey homeowners avoid the dreaded sheriff's sale.

There was a story on WNBC (New York channel 4) about the new program in New Jersey that gives homeowners FREE access to lawyers, counselors and mediators to help work out payment arrangements.
